1283. Mother of Salvation: God’s angels can be asked to pray for you but never to grant you powers

The Book of Truth:
Sunday, November 30th, 2014, 17:20

My dear children, you must never pray to God’s angels, for they are His servants and strive only to give Glory to God and to do His most Holy Will.

Prayer is an act of worship and when you call on God’s angels, within His Heavenly Hierarchy, it must always be with the intention of asking them to pray for you. If you try to communicate with the Heavenly Hierarchy of Angels, then it must only be to ask for their assistance and guidance so that you can do God’s Most Holy Will.

To those of you who believe that you will receive powers from God’s Angels then you are mistaken. The power given to angels can come only from God and you must never use them as a substitute for praying to Him. So many souls try to communicate with angels today for selfish reasons and to obtain powers that have nothing to do with God. An obsession with angels can lead to a terrible discontent because this can attract the spirit of evil if you are not careful.

When calling on God’s angels to help you, you must always bless yourself first with Holy Water and then ask them for assistance, in the name of Jesus Christ. If you do not do this and use any object, which is not associated with Christianity, when calling on angels for their help, then this could invite the spirit of evil into your life. Once this happens you will find it almost impossible to eradicate it.

A pre-occupation with communicating with angels can lead to dabbling in the occult. Once this happens, you will attract those angels who were cast out of Heaven by My Heavenly Father. They now roam the earth in the hundreds of thousands, seeking a home. Souls who leave themselves open to their influence can quickly become entangled in a spiritual world that is not of God. Once you embrace the underworld you will have no peace. These fallen angels will entice you into a web of deceit. First of all you will feel a sense of hope and then a belief that you can control all aspects of your life, with the help of such angels. Eventually you will, mistakenly, believe that you are in full control of your own destiny. Every false notion of peace will fill your minds but, soon afterwards, you will feel a terrible wretchedness.

Dabbling with such spirits that you believe to be angels of God, but who do not belong in His Kingdom, will lead you into engaging with the occult, which will blind you to the Truth and destroy your soul.

God does not grant His Angels permission to give you gifts because these can only come from Him. God’s Angels can be asked to pray for you but never to grant you worldly goods or spiritual powers. When you idolize angels and seek out these things you are guilty of breaking the First Commandment of God.

Your beloved Mother, Mother of Salvation”

True Life in God:
You Have Not Toiled In Vain

November 28, 1995

(Anniversary of 10 years of True Life in God)

peace be with you; My Vassula, ah, let Me know, let Me know, are you happy to have been with Me in this way all these years? mere creature of flesh, but with a heart, are you happy?

Crown-of-my-Joy,
how could I not be happy?
I have been carried off by Your Breath in the clouds
to advance on the wings of the wind,
to become a part of the winds, 1
so how can I not be happy!

and you have become part of Me, 2 and I part of you, and you have made your home in Me, as I have made My Home in you, transfiguring your soul into an Eden so that I may be glorified; advance your step and go forward on the wings of the wind, for you have a special place in My Sacred Heart;

Feast-of-my-own-heart!
Ointment-of-my-eyes! Light thrice Holy!
my soul rejoices because
You have rescued the “Uninhabited”,
blessed be Your Name thrice Holy.

indeed if I am your ‘Feast-of-your-own-heart’; celebrate annually the date of today where I brought you and so many others to come into My Heart; and discover those innumerable treasures I kept for your times; keep this great day in mind; be by My side as you have been for the past ten years now: NEVER leave My side, walk with Me as you have done all these years; see how I educated you? see what I have accomplished? see My Wisdom? by adopting you, I adopted so many others; My path is straight, My ways of approaching you are delightful …. your King is perfect and beautiful;

“revive My Church, embellish My Church, unite My Church”, was My Order to you; and all I asked from you, to be able to work with you for My glory, was for you to consent to do My Will; and so you have won My friendship;

My Church benefits now with so many souls who returned to Me …. and now their praises to Me are joined with those of My angels in heaven; and from your mouth I spoke, giving what My Heart desires most for Unity; you have not toiled in vain; I had asked you to pass on My Words and My desire: the unification of the date of Easter, and so you have; see? to have acknowledged Me, My child, was indeed the perfect virtue and the light of your soul; daughter from Egypt, I kept guard on you constantly, the twilight I longed for in your soul was given to you by My Spirit thrice Holy, to fulfil My whole purpose;

My words: “full, you shall be many,” were an enigma to you; then I made you understand what they meant: “when you shall be filled with My Holy Spirit, thrice Holy and giver of life, you shall, with the power of My Spirit, convert and bring to repentance many”;

I have cultivated your soil with My Own Hand, and shattered the rocks to level My way in you; then I have sown My Own celestial seeds in you; to honour My Name, I vowed to knock down any intruder who would come My way into My new garden; night and day I delighted watching over you; today, I can say, Vassula: I  have not toiled in you for nothing; My Spirit set you free so that you would be a proper place to be lived in by Me; may My sons and daughters approach Me and I shall free them to join My assembly too; ic;”

Feast of Saint Andrew, Apostle
Lectionary: 684

Reading 1 Rom 10:9-18

Brothers and sisters:
If you confess with your mouth that
Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved.
For one believes with the heart and so is justified,
and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
The Scripture says,
No one who believes in him will be put to shame.
There is no distinction between Jew and Greek;
the same Lord is Lord of all,
enriching all who call upon him.
For everyone
who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.But how canthey call on him in whom they have not believed?
And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone to preach?
And how can people preach unless they are sent?
As it is written,
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news!
But not everyone has heeded the good news;
for Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed what was heard from us?
Thus faith comes from what is heard,
and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
But I ask, did they not hear?
Certainly they did; for
Their voice has gone forth to all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 19:8, 9, 10, 11

R.(10) The judgments of the Lord are true, and all of them are just.
or:
R.(John 6:63) Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life.
The law of the LORD is perfect,
refreshing the soul;
The decree of the LORD is trustworthy,
giving wisdom to the simple.
R. The judgments of the Lord are true, and all of them are just.
or:
R. Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life.
The precepts of the LORD are right,
rejoicing the heart;
The command of the LORD is clear,
enlightening the eye.
R. The judgments of the Lord are true, and all of them are just.
or:
R. Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life.
The fear of the LORD is pure,
enduring forever;
The ordinances of the LORD are true,
all of them just.
R. The judgments of the Lord are true, and all of them are just.
or:
R. Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life.
They are more precious than gold,
than a heap of purest gold;
Sweeter also than syrup
or honey from the comb.
R. The judgments of the Lord are true, and all of them are just.
or:
R. Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life.

Alleluia Mt 4:19

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Come after me, says the Lord,
and I will make you fishers of men.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Mt 4:18-22

As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers,
Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew,
casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen.
He said to them,
“Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
At once they left their nets and followed him.
He walked along from there and saw two other brothers,
James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John.
They were in a boat, with their father Zebedee, mending their nets.
He called them, and immediately they left their boat and their father
and followed him.”

Salutation

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,

To the exiles of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who have been chosen and destined by God the Father and sanctified by the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ and to be sprinkled with his blood:

May grace and peace be yours in abundance.

A Living Hope

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who are being protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice,[a] even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith—being more precious than gold that, though perishable, is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Although you have not seen[b] him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that was to be yours made careful search and inquiry, 11 inquiring about the person or time that the Spirit of Christ within them indicated when it testified in advance to the sufferings destined for Christ and the subsequent glory. 12 It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in regard to the things that have now been announced to you through those who brought you good news by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to look!

A Call to Holy Living

13 Therefore prepare your minds for action;[c] discipline yourselves; set all your hope on the grace that Jesus Christ will bring you when he is revealed. 14 Like obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires that you formerly had in ignorance. 15 Instead, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; 16 for it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

17 If you invoke as Father the one who judges all people impartially according to their deeds, live in reverent fear during the time of your exile. 18 You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish. 20 He was destined before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of the ages for your sake. 21 Through him you have come to trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are set on God.

22 Now that you have purified your souls by your obedience to the truth[d] so that you have genuine mutual love, love one another deeply[e] from the heart.[f] 23 You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.[g] 24 For

“All flesh is like grass
    and all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers,
    and the flower falls,
25 but the word of the Lord endures forever.”

That word is the good news that was announced to you.

The Living Stone and a Chosen People

2.1 Rid yourselves, therefore, of all malice, and all guile, insincerity, envy, and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.

Come to him, a living stone, though rejected by mortals yet chosen and precious in God’s sight, and like living stones, let yourselves be built[h] into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it stands in scripture:

“See, I am laying in Zion a stone,
    a cornerstone chosen and precious;
and whoever believes in him[i]
will not be put to shame.” …”

Torah:

Jacob’s Dream at Bethel

10 Jacob left Beer-sheba and went toward Haran. 11 He came to a certain place and stayed there for the night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place. 12 And he dreamed that there was a ladder[a] set up on the earth, the top of it reaching to heaven; and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 And the Lord stood beside him[b] and said, “I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring; 14 and your offspring shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and all the families of the earth shall be blessed[c] in you and in your offspring. 15 Know that I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” 16 Then Jacob woke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place—and I did not know it!” 17 And he was afraid, and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

18 So Jacob rose early in the morning, and he took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up for a pillar and poured oil on the top of it. 19 He called that place Bethel;[d] but the name of the city was Luz at the first. 20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, 21 so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God, 22 and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God’s house; and of all that you give me I will surely give one-tenth to you.”

My people are bent on turning away from me.
    To the Most High they call,
    but he does not raise them up at all.[a]

How can I give you up, Ephraim?
    How can I hand you over, O Israel?
How can I make you like Admah?
    How can I treat you like Zeboiim?
My heart recoils within me;
    my compassion grows warm and tender.
I will not execute my fierce anger;
    I will not again destroy Ephraim;
for I am God and no mortal,
    the Holy One in your midst,
    and I will not come in wrath.[b]

10 They shall go after the Lord,
    who roars like a lion;
when he roars,
    his children shall come trembling from the west.
11 They shall come trembling like birds from Egypt,
    and like doves from the land of Assyria;
    and I will return them to their homes, says the Lord.

12 [c] Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,
    and the house of Israel with deceit;
but Judah still walks[d] with God,
    and is faithful to the Holy One.
12 Ephraim herds the wind,
    and pursues the east wind all day long;
they multiply falsehood and violence;
    they make a treaty with Assyria,
    and oil is carried to Egypt.

The Long History of Rebellion

The Lord has an indictment against Judah,
    and will punish Jacob according to his ways,
    and repay him according to his deeds.
In the womb he tried to supplant his brother,
    and in his manhood he strove with God.
He strove with the angel and prevailed,
    he wept and sought his favor;
he met him at Bethel,
    and there he spoke with him.[e]
The Lord the God of hosts,
    the Lord is his name!
But as for you, return to your God,
    hold fast to love and justice,
    and wait continually for your God.

A trader, in whose hands are false balances,
    he loves to oppress.
Ephraim has said, “Ah, I am rich,
    I have gained wealth for myself;
in all of my gain
    no offense has been found in me
    that would be sin.”[f]
I am the Lord your God
    from the land of Egypt;
I will make you live in tents again,
    as in the days of the appointed festival.

10 I spoke to the prophets;
    it was I who multiplied visions,
    and through the prophets I will bring destruction.
11 In Gilead[g] there is iniquity,
    they shall surely come to nothing.
In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls,
    so their altars shall be like stone heaps
    on the furrows of the field.
12 Jacob fled to the land of Aram,
    there Israel served for a wife,
    and for a wife he guarded sheep.[h]
13 By a prophet the Lord brought Israel up from Egypt,
    and by a prophet he was guarded.
14 Ephraim has given bitter offense,
    so his Lord will bring his crimes down on him
    and pay him back for his insults.

Relentless Judgment on Israel

13 When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling;
    he was exalted in Israel;
    but he incurred guilt through Baal and died.
And now they keep on sinning
    and make a cast image for themselves,
idols of silver made according to their understanding,
    all of them the work of artisans.
“Sacrifice to these,” they say.[i]
    People are kissing calves!
Therefore they shall be like the morning mist
    or like the dew that goes away early,
like chaff that swirls from the threshing floor
    or like smoke from a window.

Yet I have been the Lord your God
    ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
    and besides me there is no savior.
It was I who fed[j] you in the wilderness,
    in the land of drought.
When I fed[k] them, they were satisfied;
    they were satisfied, and their heart was proud;
    therefore they forgot me.
So I will become like a lion to them,
    like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
I will fall upon them like a bear robbed of her cubs,
    and will tear open the covering of their heart;
there I will devour them like a lion,
    as a wild animal would mangle them.

I will destroy you, O Israel;
    who can help you?[l]
10 Where now is[m] your king, that he may save you?
    Where in all your cities are your rulers,
of whom you said,
    “Give me a king and rulers”?
11 I gave you a king in my anger,
    and I took him away in my wrath.

12 Ephraim’s iniquity is bound up;
    his sin is kept in store.
13 The pangs of childbirth come for him,
    but he is an unwise son;
for at the proper time he does not present himself
    at the mouth of the womb.

14 Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol?
    Shall I redeem them from Death?
O Death, where are[n] your plagues?
    O Sheol, where is[o] your destruction?
    Compassion is hidden from my eyes.

15 Although he may flourish among rushes,[p]
    the east wind shall come, a blast from the Lord,
    rising from the wilderness;
and his fountain shall dry up,
    his spring shall be parched.
It shall strip his treasury
    of every precious thing.
16 [q] Samaria shall bear her guilt,
    because she has rebelled against her God;
they shall fall by the sword,
    their little ones shall be dashed in pieces,
    and their pregnant women ripped open.

A Plea for Repentance

14 Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God,
    for you have stumbled because of your iniquity.
Take words with you
    and return to the Lord;
say to him,
    “Take away all guilt;
accept that which is good,
    and we will offer
    the fruit[r] of our lips.
Assyria shall not save us;
    we will not ride upon horses;
we will say no more, ‘Our God,’
    to the work of our hands.
In you the orphan finds mercy.”

Assurance of Forgiveness

I will heal their disloyalty;
    I will love them freely,
    for my anger has turned from them.
I will be like the dew to Israel;
    he shall blossom like the lily,
    he shall strike root like the forests of Lebanon.[s]
His shoots shall spread out;
    his beauty shall be like the olive tree,
    and his fragrance like that of Lebanon.
They shall again live beneath my[t] shadow,
    they shall flourish as a garden;[u]
they shall blossom like the vine,
    their fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon.

O Ephraim, what have I[v] to do with idols?
    It is I who answer and look after you.[w]
I am like an evergreen cypress;
    your faithfulness[x] comes from me.
Those who are wise understand these things;
    those who are discerning know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,
    and the upright walk in them,
    but transgressors stumble in them.”
