Roman Catholic:

Tuesday of the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Time

Lectionary: 480

Reading 1

Brothers and sisters:
Be subordinate to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives should be subordinate to their husbands as to the Lord.
For the husband is head of his wife
just as Christ is head of the Church,
he himself the savior of the Body.
As the Church is subordinate to Christ,
so wives should be subordinate to their husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives,
even as Christ loved the Church
and handed himself over for her to sanctify her,
cleansing her by the bath of water with the word,
that he might present to himself the Church in splendor,
without spot or wrinkle or any such thing,
that she might be holy and without blemish.
So also husbands should love their wives as their own bodies.
He who loves his wife loves himself.
For no one hates his own flesh
but rather nourishes and cherishes it,
even as Christ does the Church,
because we are members of his Body.

For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother
and be joined to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh.

This is a great mystery,
but I speak in reference to Christ and the Church.
In any case, each one of you should love his wife as himself,
and the wife should respect her husband.

Responsorial Psalm

R. (1a) Blessed are those who fear the Lord.
Blessed are you who fear the LORD,
who walk in his ways!
For you shall eat the fruit of your handiwork;
blessed shall you be, and favored.
R. Blessed are those who fear the Lord.
Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
in the recesses of your home;
Your children like olive plants
around your table.
R.  Blessed are those who fear the Lord.
Behold, thus is the man blessed
who fears the LORD.
The LORD bless you from Zion:
may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
R. Blessed are those who fear the Lord.

Alleluia

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth;
You have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the Kingdom.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel

Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like?
To what can I compare it?
It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden.
When it was fully grown, it became a large bush
and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.”

Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God?
It is like yeast that a woman took
and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour
until the whole batch of dough was leavened.””

Salutation

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

To the saints and faithful brothers and sisters[a] in Christ in Colossae:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

———————–

This you learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant.[a] He is a faithful minister of Christ on your[b] behalf, and he has made known to us your love in the Spirit.

For this reason, since the day we heard it, we have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s[c] will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you may lead lives worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, as you bear fruit in every good work and as you grow in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power, and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully

————————–

The Lord’s Prayer

11 He was praying in a certain place, and after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Father,[a] hallowed be your name.
    Your kingdom come.[b]
    Give us each day our daily bread.[c]
    And forgive us our sins,
        for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us.
    And do not bring us to the time of trial.”[d]

Perseverance in Prayer

And he said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; for a friend of mine has arrived, and I have nothing to set before him.’ And he answers from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been locked, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, at least because of his persistence he will get up and give him whatever he needs.

“So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

You will be tested beyond endurance in your faith in the most Holy Blessed Trinity, and many of you will fall.

The Book of Truth:
Saturday, January 10th, 2015, 15:36

My dearest daughter, humanity has turned against Me and all that I created in My Image and, for that, My Sorrow is great.

My children will be saved by the Intervention of My dearly beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and this will take place very soon. Before this day I ask all those who love Me to acknowledge the Truth; My Son and His Love to pray for His Mercy.

You, who love My Son, must remember His Promise to redeem the world and eradicate sin before His Glorious Kingdom descends. Life of the body and the soul will be eternal and those who accept My Son’s Mercy will gain this great Gift. Those who don’t, will not.

Come, My children, and accept My Word for it is eternal and nothing will destroy it. My adversary seethes with anger at this time because he knows that the world will be rid of his influence and he will unleash terrible hardships upon those souls he desires to deny, the Gift of eternal life.

You will be tested beyond endurance in your faith in the most Holy Blessed Trinity, and many of you will fall. True faith requires real trust and, unless you trust in the promises made by My Son, you will become separated from Him.

Every single child of Mine will be given the proof of My Existence shortly. When this sign is given, do not doubt it, for it is to bring you into My Refuge that I bequeath it to you.

Many signs have been given to the world of My Existence and now I bring you much more. Fear not for I will pursue every soul and there is not one amongst you that I do not love with a tender heart. I love My enemies, including those who torture Me with their wickedness. But, soon, the Gift I will bring them will awaken a dormant love for their Creator within their hearts. Their love and My Divine Love, combined, will defeat evil. I will wipe away all their fears and tears.

You, My dear children, will be given this Gift when you are least expecting it. For, that time is drawing nearer and the face of the world will be changed forever and for the good of all.

My Power exceeds all that is of this world and beyond it. My Kingdom is everlasting.Your beloved Father, God the Most High ”

True Life in God:

They Have Sworn To Surge Over You

November 21, 1995

Have I toiled in vain?
Have I exhausted myself for nothing?
Yet all the while my course was with You.
My charism is given by You, my God,
this is why You were my Strength.

My Vassula, why do you say, “were my Strength?” why do you talk in the past? you are under My service still and you are permanently strengthened by Me; I am still your Strength and will always be …. no, you have not laboured in vain nor have you been spent for nothing; your abandonment has done prodigies in My Spirit; is a country born in one day? likewise nor is it possible that unity be born in one single day since many of My elect follow their own ways; a Voice was sent to the nations to speak and console My children, to turn them back to Me; I provided seeds to be sown in the field of reconciliation and I had provided you with My spiritual bread so that My Word fills those who lacked;

– your race, Vassula, is not over because I have created you to be My weapon against the Destroyer who renders many of My people blind; you will have nothing to fear since I am with you ….

yes, the Destroyer captivated their mind by its power over the world and its name lies in Scriptures as the three foul spirits forming a triangle; those three foul spirits coming from the jaws of dragon and beast and false prophet, 1 why, they have awakened with your sound since you are My Echo and so have sworn, by overturning My Chalice, to silence you; they have sworn to surge over you and against you;

My little angel, in your frailty I shall disarm the mighty ones; in your nothingness I shall reveal My Power and overturn their kingdoms; take courage, daughter, and I will re-establish the truth; I bless you;”

Roman Catholic:

Monday of the First Week in Ordinary Time
Lectionary: 305

Reading 1 1 Sm 1:1-8

There was a certain man from Ramathaim, Elkanah by name,
a Zuphite from the hill country of Ephraim.
He was the son of Jeroham, son of Elihu,
son of Tohu, son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.
He had two wives, one named Hannah, the other Peninnah;
Peninnah had children, but Hannah was childless.
This man regularly went on pilgrimage from his city
to worship the LORD of hosts and to sacrifice to him at Shiloh,
where the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas,
were ministering as priests of the LORD.
When the day came for Elkanah to offer sacrifice,
he used to give a portion each to his wife Peninnah
and to all her sons and daughters,

but a double portion to Hannah because he loved her,
though the LORD had made her barren.
Her rival, to upset her, turned it into a constant reproach to her
that the LORD had left her barren.
This went on year after year;
each time they made their pilgrimage to the sanctuary of the LORD,
Peninnah
would approach her,
and Hannah would weep and refuse to eat.
Her husband Elkanah used to ask her:
“Hannah, why do you weep, and why do you refuse to eat?
Why do you grieve?
Am I not more to you than ten sons?”

Responsorial Psalm 116:12-13, 14-17, 18-19

R.    (17a)  To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R.    Alleluia.
How shall I make a return to the LORD
for all the good he has done for me?
The cup of salvation I will take up,
and I will call upon the name of the LORD.
R.    To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R.    Alleluia.
My vows to the LORD I will pay
in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the eyes of the LORD
is the death of his faithful ones.
O LORD, I am your servant;
I am your servant, the son of your handmaid;
you have loosed my bonds.
R.    To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R.    Alleluia.
My vows to the LORD I will pay
in the presence of all his people,
In the courts of the house of the LORD,
in your midst, O Jerusalem.
R.    To you, Lord, I will offer a sacrifice of praise.
or:
R.    Alleluia.

Alleluia Mk 1:15

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
The Kingdom of God is at hand;
repent and believe in the Gospel.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Mk 1:14-20

After John had been arrested,
Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the Gospel of God:
“This is the time of fulfillment.
The Kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent, and believe in the Gospel.”

As he passed by the Sea of Galilee,
he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea;
     they were fishermen.
Jesus said to them,
Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Then they left their nets and followed him.
He walked along a little farther
and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John.
They too were in a boat mending their nets.
Then he called them.
So they left their father Zebedee in the boat
 along with the hired men and followed him.”

Orthodox:
 17 By faith Abraham, when put to the test, offered up Isaac. He who had received the promises was ready to offer up his only son, 18 of whom he had been told, “It is through Isaac that descendants shall be named for you.” 19 He considered the fact that God is able even to raise someone from the dead—and figuratively speaking, he did receive him back. 20 By faith Isaac invoked blessings for the future on Jacob and Esau. 21 By faith Jacob, when dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, “bowing in worship over the top of his staff.” 22 By faith Joseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave instructions about his burial.[a]

The Faith of Moses

23 By faith Moses was hidden by his parents for three months after his birth, because they saw that the child was beautiful; and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.[b] 24 By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called a son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to share ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He considered abuse suffered for the Christ[c] to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to the reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, unafraid of the king’s anger; for he persevered as though[d] he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.[e]

The Faith of Other Israelite Heroes

29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as if it were dry land, but when the Egyptians attempted to do so they were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell after they had been encircled for seven days. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient,[f] because she had received the spies in peace.”

The Demand for a Sign

11 The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, asking him for a sign from heaven, to test him. 12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation.” 13 And he left them, and getting into the boat again, he went across to the other side.

The Yeast of the Pharisees and of Herod

14 Now the disciples[a] had forgotten to bring any bread; and they had only one loaf with them in the boat. 15 And he cautioned them, saying, “Watch out—beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod.”[b] 16 They said to one another, “It is because we have no bread.” 17 And becoming aware of it, Jesus said to them, “Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you still not perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Do you have eyes, and fail to see? Do you have ears, and fail to hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you collect?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you collect?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 Then he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?”

1307. Thunder and lightning will descend upon the Temple of the Lord

The Book of Truth:
Saturday, January 3rd, 2015, 20:20

My dearly beloved daughter, when God gave the world the Truth, through the prophets, it was an Act of Mercy on His part. So many had forgotten about God, adored false gods – which come from the hierarchy of Satan – that they began to believe in their own invincibility. Were it not for God’s Intervention many people would have suffered a terrible punishment.

What God told the prophets, since the beginning, happened. The warnings He gave to humanity resulted in those, who heeded them, being saved while those who ignored them were cast away. All that has been foretold will come to pass, and those who oppose God in His attempts to bring peace and salvation to His children will have to account for their defiance. Because the Truth has been twisted and the Word of God ignored, people will continue to turn their backs on the Holy Word of God. Their descent into darkness will result in a punishment by God, the Most High.

It pains My Eternal Father to see the depths to which man has fallen in the pursuit of anything that brings him pleasure. But, the day when the Holy Sacrifice ends, and the hour that the imposters desecrate My Altar, will be the final thorn by which they will pierce My Side. At the appointed time, thunder and lightning will descend upon the Temple of the Lord and it will come crashing down. Woe to the man who participates in this sacrilege for he will be cut off from every reprieve * and he will fall into the abyss like a stone. No one will defend the man who desecrates My Altar then, for once the Hand of God descends like a heavy axe, they will realise the Truth.

Many may have fallen away from God but, for the most part, many will still call out to Him seeking solace in His Arms. But, there will exist a core – a band of beasts – whose outward appearance disguises the wickedness, which lies within, who will urge, seduce and draw towards them the souls whose hardened hearts have made them the perfect cohorts in the plot to desecrate My Body. This is the group, foretold of long ago, who will try to destroy humanity. Their power will be limited, however, though it may seem great. My Father will only permit so much opposition against Me, His only begotten Son, for so long.

The good of heart will rally and come to Me. It is through the sins of pride and arrogance that the greatest division will be created amongst men and, unless they discard their weaknesses, they will find it impossible to accept My Mercy.

The Truth must be upheld for if you accept anything but the Truth – the Word of God – you will end up with nothing.

Your Jesus ”

who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it: “There will be no more delay,”

True Life in God:

God Wants Your Daily Abandonment

October 25, 1989

(Our Holy Mother, for the prayer group:)

My Peace is with you, ecclesia shall revive;

come, be pleasing to the Lord and offer yourselves daily to Him; allow Him to change you into devout children, into children of Light; change your lives by detaching yourselves from the worldly things, for, My little ones, you are only passing by in this world; I am constantly reminding you that your soul will live forever and I am repeatedly warning you to change your lives;

what does God want from you? and what is the perfect thing to do? God wants your daily abandonment, a full abandonment to model you into a perfect being; the perfect thing to do is to obey God’s Will by offering Him your will; seek Him, seek all that is Him; I beg you, do not listen to the demon’s whispers, elevate your soul by a constant prayer; I love you, children, and My Eyes do not leave you an instant alone;

learn to do good from Our Messages, let Our Messages nourish your poor soul and lead you back to Knowledge, let them lead you to the Holy Bible and to the Truth and the Life; I want to save you from the nets of the devil; I want to elevate your soul into a higher level of prayer;

tonight, My children, I shall intercede to the Father for all of you in a very special way; you should know that through His Goodness you can obtain many graces, you should know how infinitely rich He is in Grace; desire the Lord, be hungry for the Lord always; unload all your worries, offering them to Him, trust Him;

enlarge His Kingdom with your love to Him and to your brethren; repay evil with love, let love be the principle of your life, let love be your root; be aware of your thoughts, do not judge each other, for your ways are NOT as the Lord’s; endeavour to please the Lord by being humble without any judgment for others; God’s Love is revealed even to the least of you all;

go in peace, beloved ones, enter your homes without leaving Us behind, take Us with you; learn to feel Our Holy Presence; learn to say, “we” instead of “I”, “us” instead of “me”; I bless you all; be one, like the Lord desires it; do not be divided, for in Heaven you are one;

be in Peace and live in Peace;”

“… The good of heart will rally and come to Me. It is through the sins of pride and arrogance that the greatest division will be created amongst men and, unless they discard their weaknesses, they will find it impossible to accept My Mercy.

The Truth must be upheld for if you accept anything but the Truth – the Word of God – you will end up with nothing.

Christmas Weekday
Lectionary: 206

Reading 1  1 JN 2:29–3:6

If you consider that God is righteous,
you also know that everyone who acts in righteousness
is begotten by him.
See what love the Father has bestowed on us
that we may be called the children of God.
Yet so we are.
The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
Beloved, we are God’s children now;
what we shall be has not yet been revealed.
We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him,
for we shall see him as he is.
Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure,
as he is pure.
Everyone who commits sin commits lawlessness,
for sin is lawlessness.
You know that he was revealed to take away sins,
and in him there is no sin.
No one who
remains in him sins;
no one who sins has seen him or known him.

Responsorial Psalm PS 98:1, 3CD-4, 5-6

R. (3cd) All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.
Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done wondrous deeds;
His right hand has won victory for him,
his holy arm.
R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation by our God.
Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands;
break into song; sing praise.
R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.
Sing praise to the LORD with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
sing joyfully before the King, the LORD.
R. All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.

Alleluia JN 1:14A, 12A

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
The Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us.
To those who accepted him
he gave power to become the children of God.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel JN 1:29-34

John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said,
“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.
He is the one of whom I said,
‘A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me
because he existed before me.’
I did not know him,
but the reason why I came baptizing with water
was that he might be made known to Israel.”
John testified further, saying,
“I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky
and
remain upon him.
I did not know him,
but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me,
‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and
remain,
he is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Now I have seen and testified that he is the Son of God.”

The Return of the Redeemed to Zion

35 The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad,
    the desert shall rejoice and blossom;
like the crocus it shall blossom abundantly,
    and rejoice with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
    the majesty of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the glory of the Lord,
    the majesty of our God.

Strengthen the weak hands,
    and make firm the feeble knees.

Say to those who are of a fearful heart,
    “Be strong, do not fear!
Here is your God.
    He will come with vengeance,
with terrible recompense.
    He will come and save you.”

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
    and the ears of the deaf unstopped;
then the lame shall leap like a deer,
    and the tongue of the speechless sing for joy.
For waters shall break forth in the wilderness,
    and streams in the desert;
the burning sand shall become a pool,
    and the thirsty ground springs of water;
the haunt of jackals shall become a swamp,[a]
    the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

A highway shall be there,
    and it shall be called the Holy Way;
the unclean shall not travel on it,[b]
    but it shall be for God’s people;[c]
    no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray.
No lion shall be there,
    nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
    but the redeemed shall walk there.
10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return,
    and come to Zion with singing;
everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
    they shall obtain joy and gladness,
    and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”

25 And as John was finishing his work, he said, ‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he. No, but one is coming after me; I am not worthy to untie the thong of the sandals[a] on his feet.’

26 “My brothers, you descendants of Abraham’s family, and others who fear God, to us[b] the message of this salvation has been sent. 27 Because the residents of Jerusalem and their leaders did not recognize him or understand the words of the prophets that are read every sabbath, they fulfilled those words by condemning him. 28 Even though they found no cause for a sentence of death, they asked Pilate to have him killed. 29 When they had carried out everything that was written about him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb. 30 But God raised him from the dead; 31 and for many days he appeared to those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, and they are now his witnesses to the people. 32 And we bring you the good news that what God promised to our ancestors 33 he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising Jesus; as also it is written in the second psalm,

‘You are my Son;
    today I have begotten you.’ …”

1242. I Am coming for those who are most undeserving of My Mercy, first

The Book of Truth:
Sunday, October 12th, 2014, 21:20

My dearly beloved daughter, I Am the Protector of all God’s children – every single one of you, irrespective of your sex, age or creed. I Am the Protector of My Church on earth and no man will prevail against it. It will remain intact, although many will have deserted Me.

Those who desert Me, who change the Word of God, cannot say that they are of My Church, for I cannot protect a church that does not speak the Truth. The true test of your faith has begun and, soon, you will be confused and won’t know where to turn. Be assured, that merciful though I Am, I will never stand and allow traitors to desecrate My Body. They will only go so far before the thundering force of the Hand of God will be heard.

You must focus on Me and accept that The Tribulation has intensified, and that all things foretold must be witnessed. Only when the prophecies, given to the world in the Beginning, become apparent, will man fully understand that My Time is almost upon him. You must never fear Me, for My Love and Mercy is expansive. Fear only those who do not come from Me, for it is the spirit of evil that drives them to do terrible things. By prayer alone, you can help to atone for their sins, and through such a generous act, you can diffuse the smoke of Satan. His fumes engulf the world at this time, but to be able to recognise his presence is more difficult, than you can imagine. His influence is always hidden behind an exterior of concern; humanitarian acts and is presented in the most unexpected, but respectful way. The man who is blessed with the Gift of discernment will understand how Satan operates. He will recognise his works, no matter how carefully disguised they are presented to a world, which is blind to the Truth.

Soon, My Voice will awaken within the hearts of men, their spirituality; a sense of who they are; an understanding as to whom they belong; and an awareness of the Eternal Life I will bring them. Know that when this awakening begins, that the Power of God will be felt, as God’s Justice arises out of the ashes, and when a beacon of Light brings life back into the barren field, which will have been left in a withered state, by the evil one. My Voice will be heard and many will be shocked when that day begins. It will peal out like thunder and every righteous man will bend down on one knee, in praise of God. I Am coming for those who are most undeserving of My Mercy, first. They are the ones who should be last, because of the way they treated Me. And, yet, they will be beckoned into My Kingdom first. The just will come last. The wicked will be left behind.

No stone will be left unturned, up to the last second, and those who scream for My Mercy will be given it. Those who curse Me will be cursed.

Your Jesus”

Saturday of the Twenty-seventh Week in Ordinary Time
Lectionary: 466

Reading 1 Jl 4:12-21

Thus says the LORD:
Let the nations bestir themselves and come up
to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
For there will I sit in
judgment
upon
all the neighboring nations.Apply the sickle,
for the harvest is ripe;
Come and tread,
for the wine press is full;
The vats overflow,
for great is their malice.
Crowd upon crowd
in the valley of decision;
For near is the day of the LORD
in the valley of decision.
Sun and moon aredarkened,
and the stars
withhold their brightness.
The LORD roars from Zion,
and from Jerusalem
raises his voice;
The heavens and the earth quake,
but the LORD is a refuge to his people,
a stronghold to the children of Israel.
Then shall you know that I, the LORD, am your God,
dwelling on Zion, my holy mountain;
Jerusalem shall be holy,
and strangers shall pass through her no more.
And then, on that

day,
the mountains shall drip new wine,
and the hills shall flow with milk;
And the channels of Judah
shall flow with water:
A fountain shall issue from the house of the LORD,
to water the Valley of Shittim.
Egypt shall be a waste,
and Edom a desert waste,
Because of violence done to the people of Judah,
because they shed innocent blood in their land.

But Judah shall abide forever,
and Jerusalem for all generations.

I will
avenge their blood,
and not leave it unpunished.
The LORD dwells in Zion.

True Life in God:

Have Him As First – Repay Evil With Love

January 31, 1988

Vassula, We are both near you,

(I had, just before, while sitting on the sofa, felt Jesus’ robe brush my right arm. He placed His hand on my shoulder. I seemed to feel His Presence vividly again. I got up to write and I felt St. Mary sitting near me.)

the vow I seek from you is fidelity; be faithful to Jesus, have Him as First; be willing to do His Will;

St. Mary, I don’t seem to realise yet. I know I don’t realise fully all this …

My child, God has veiled your eyes; accept the way He is working in you; trust Him;

Vassula, I am waiting for you in My Church; 1 all those who will enter My House, I will bless; yes, I will bless all those who will come to Me;

Vassula, do not get discouraged when trials come; keep praying; come to Me, bless those who will persecute you; pray for your oppressors, repay evil with love; in the end My Immaculate Heart will prevail;

at Fatima I had made a grandiose Miracle so that everybody believes, you call it ‘Miracle of the Sun’; do you know, flower, that God allowed your spirit to enter It? you have entered His Abode; Vassula, how little you realise the favour God has given you!

Yes St. Mary, I never realise fully, but if this is God’s Will I accept things as they are.

yes, never seek why, accept gracefully all that God gives you; obey God’s demands with grace; by keeping your eyes veiled He keeps your soul from becoming elated by all the graces He is pouring on you; you have been allowed to enter in His Holiest of Places where millions of seraphs encircle His Throne worshiping Him incessantly; only His Holiest Angels are allowed to enter God’s Holy Abode; now you know, daughter, the great favour He has given you;

St. Mary, forgive me for not quite realising.

I will intercede for you;

Thank You, Holy Mother, for helping me.

here is Jesus;

Vassula, I will be present too; 2 I will bless all those who come;

come now, feel Me, rejoice Me, smile at Me; speak up and let Me hear your words; Vassula, seek Me near My Mother, your Holy Mother; We are together; I love you;”

Sunday, October 12th, 2014, 18:40

My dearest daughter, many changes will come about as the time for the Second Coming of My beloved Son, Jesus Christ, draws closer.

Fear not, My children, for these things must come to pass in order that My children are purified, so they can rejoice when the Day comes for the world without end to begin. My Promises have always been fulfilled and all will end well.

I desire that you beg for Mercy, for every single soul alive in the world, so that the human race can unite, as one, in My Eyes. Soon, the hatred, the evil and the injustices in the world will come to an abrupt end, and the Light of My Kingdom will shine down upon you. Peace will reign and love will fill the earth, as the New Paradise is unveiled in all its splendour. My Justice will eradicate all evil, and those who cling to the devil, despite My Intervention, will be cast away. Then, no more tears will be shed and the final part of My Covenant will be concluded.

Twenty-eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Lectionary: 144

Reading 1 2 Kgs 5:14-17

Naaman went down and plunged into the Jordan seven times
at the word of Elisha, the man of God.
His flesh became again like the flesh of a little child,
and he was clean of his leprosy.Naaman returned with his whole retinue to the man of God.
On his arrival he stood before Elisha and said,
“Now I know that there is no God in all the earth,
except in Israel.
Please accept a
gift from your servant.”Elisha replied, “As the LORD lives whom I serve, I will not take it;”
and despite Naaman’s urging, he still refused.
Naaman said: “If you will not accept,
please let me, your servant, have two mule-loads of earth,
for I will no longer offer holocaust or sacrifice
to any other god except to the LORD.”

Responsorial Psalm Ps 98:1, 2-3, 3-4

R. (cf. 2b) The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.
Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done wondrous deeds;
his right hand has won victory for him,
his holy arm.
R. The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.
The LORD has made his salvation known:
in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice.
He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness
toward the house of Israel.
R. The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation by our God.
Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands:
break into song; sing praise.
R. The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power.

Reading 2 2 Tm 2:8-13

Beloved:
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David:
such is my gospel, for which I am suffering,
even to the point of chains, like a criminal.
But the word of God is not chained.
Therefore, I bear with everything for the sake of those who are chosen,
so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus,
together with eternal glory.
This saying is trustworthy:
If we have died with him
we shall also live with him;
if we persevere
we shall also reign with him.
But if we deny him
he will
deny us.
If we are unfaithful
he remains faithful,
for he cannot deny himself.

Alleluia 1 Thes 5:18

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
In all circumstances, give thanks,
for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Lk 17:11-19

As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem,
he traveled through Samaria and Galilee.
As he was entering a village, ten lepers met him.
They stood at a distance from him and raised their voices, saying,
“Jesus, Master!  Have pity on us!”
And when he saw them, he said,
“Go show yourselves to the priests.”
As they were going they were cleansed.
And one of them, realizing he had been healed,
returned, glorifying God in a loud voice;
and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him.
He was a Samaritan.
Jesus said in reply,
“Ten were cleansed, were they not?
Where are the other nine?
Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?”
Then he said to him, “Stand up and go;
your faith has saved you.””

14 Although heaven and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord your God, the earth with all that is in it, 15 yet the Lord set his heart in love on your ancestors alone and chose you, their descendants after them, out of all the peoples, as it is today. 16 Circumcise, then, the foreskin of your heart, and do not be stubborn any longer. 17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who is not partial and takes no bribe, 18 who executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and who loves the strangers, providing them food and clothing. 19 You shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. 20 You shall fear the Lord your God; him alone you shall worship; to him you shall hold fast, and by his name you shall swear. 21 He is your praise; he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things that your own eyes have seen. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy+10%3A14-21&version=NRSVCE;NR2006;SCH2000;ERV-HU;BDS

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

36 While they were talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”[a] 37 They were startled and terrified, and thought that they were seeing a ghost. 38 He said to them, “Why are you frightened, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Look at my hands and my feet; see that it is I myself. Touch me and see; for a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” 40 And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.[b] 41 While in their joy they were disbelieving and still wondering, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate in their presence.

44 Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about me in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms must be fulfilled.” 45 Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures, 46 and he said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Messiah[c] is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses[d] of these things. 49 And see, I am sending upon you what my Father promised; so stay here in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.

The Ascension of Jesus

50 Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and, lifting up his hands, he blessed them. 51 While he was blessing them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.[e] 52 And they worshiped him, and[f] returned to Jerusalem with great joy; 53 and they were continually in the temple blessing God.[g]

1236. I give you now, the final Crusade Prayer

The Book of Truth:
Wednesday, October 8th, 2014, 21:10

My dearly beloved daughter, My Heart is so broken at this time. The traitors have pierced My Side and the earth is now being flooded with an outpouring of My Grief, which is so intense, that I cannot be comforted.

I ask now, who among My sacred servants will be strong enough to uphold the Truth?

I give you, the final Crusade Prayer. It is for priests. I ask that My sacred servants recite it daily.

Crusade Prayer (170): To uphold the Holy Word of God.

O Dear Lord, my beloved Jesus Christ
Hold me.
Protect me.
Keep me in the Light of Your Face, as my persecution intensifies,
when my only sin is to uphold the Truth, the Holy Word of God.
Help me to find the courage to serve you faithfully at all times.
Give me Your Courage and Your Strength,
as I fight to defend Your Teachings against fierce opposition.
Never desert me, Jesus, in my time of need
and provide me with everything I need to continue to serve You,
through the provision of the Holy Sacraments and Your Precious Body and Blood, through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
Bless me Jesus.
Walk with me.
Rest in me.
Stay with me.
Amen.

Your Jesus”

Wednesday, October 8th, 2014, 20:45….

My Church sprung from My Loins. I gave you My Body in death and this became My Church. Now it will be defiled and My Body will be crucified again. Not one ounce of shame will My enemies feel, for their lofty ambitions and self-gratification have nothing to do with Me.

How easily led are those whose faith is weak. How easily led will be those souls, with a strong faith, for they will be fearful of defending the Truth. It will only be the remnant, and those with true allegiance to My Word, who will remain loyal to My Church. And it will be because of them that My Church will never die.

Your Jesus”

Blessed Are The Poor In Spirit

June 9, 1988

Vassula, I, the Lord, love you in spite of your misery; you are poor in spirit, but I have said: “blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven;” ah Vassula, that is precisely what I and your Holy Mother are doing; Our Hearts have selected wretched souls, poor in spirit and the least of My creation to reveal My Providential Works so as to baffle the ones who call themselves wise; My Spirit will always choose those you call ‘nothing’ and ‘contemptible’, to shame the wise;

Vassula, persevere, 1 I will always help you; come, we, us?

Yes, Lord; we, us.

we, us?

Yes, St. Mary; we, us.”

“The Holy Rosary

June 10, 1988

(Holy Mother is speaking.)

by the Holy Rosary I will prevail; daughter, this step is the beginning for many other events to come; realise, Vassula, that at Fatima I appeared as the Lady of the Rosary; 1 Vassula, I love you boundlessly, are you willing to pray the Holy Rosary daily?

Yes, I mean to obey You and Jesus.

obedience, My children, know how much evil is conquered by obedience;

ecclesia will revive; Jesus and I have always worked together because Our Hearts are united; Jesus’ Sacred Heart has prepared His Message of Peace and Love through you, choosing the weakest, least and most wretched child of all humanity, but in spite of what you are, Jesus loves you boundlessly; He chose you to show the world His boundless Mercy; He chose you to manifest His Love through you;

come back, creation, come back to Us! the time is almost over now! hear Our call; children there is not much time left; O beloved! hear Our Voice, hear Our plea, hear these Hearts who weep incessantly for you; return to Us!”

Tuesday of the Twenty-seventh Week in Ordinary Time
Lectionary: 462

Reading 1 Jon 3:1-10

The word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time:
“Set out for the great city of Nineveh,
and announce to it the message that I will tell you.”
So Jonah made ready and went to Nineveh,
according to the LORD’s bidding.
Now Nineveh was an enormously large city;
it took three days to go through it.
Jonah began his journey through the city,
and had gone but a single day’s walk announcing,
“Forty days more and Nineveh shall be destroyed,”
when the people of Nineveh believed God;
they proclaimed a fast and all of them, great and small,
put on sackcloth.When the news reached the king of Nineveh,
he rose from his throne, laid aside his robe,
covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in the ashes.
Then he had this proclaimed throughout Nineveh,
by decree of the king and his nobles:
“Neither man nor beast, neither cattle nor sheep,
shall taste anything;
they shall not eat, nor shall they drink water.
Man and beast shall be covered with sackcloth
and call loudly to God;
every man shall turn from his evil way
and from the violence he has in hand.
Who knows, God may relent and forgive,
and withhold his blazing wrath,
so that we shall not perish.”
When God saw by their actions how they turned from their evil way,
he repented of the evil that he had threatened to do to them;
he did not carry it out.

Responsorial Psalm PS 130:1b-2, 3-4ab, 7-8

R.(3) If you, O Lord, mark iniquities, who can stand?
Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD
LORD, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to my voice in supplication.
R. If you, O Lord, mark iniquities, who can stand?
If you, O LORD, mark iniquities,
LORD, who can stand?
But with you is forgiveness,
that you may be revered.
R. If you, O Lord, mark iniquities, who can stand?
Let Israel wait for the LORD,
For with the LORD is kindness
and with him is plenteous redemption;
And he will redeem Israel
from all their iniquities.
R. If you, O Lord, mark iniquities, who can stand?

Alleluia Lk 11:28

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Blessed are those who hear the word of God
and observe it.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Lk 10:38-42

Jesus entered a village
where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him.
She had a sister named Mary
who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.
Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said,
“Lord, do you not care
that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving?
Tell her to help me.”
The Lord said to her in reply,
“Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.
There is need of only one thing.
Mary has chosen the better part
and it will not be taken from her.””

Thursday, October 9th, 2014, 20:40My dearly beloved daughter, how I thirst for the love of man and how they thirst for Me. But, the division that separates man from Me, The Giver of Life, is the greatest enemy of the human race.Satan, whose cunning deceitful ways has meant he creates great divisions in the world. That he is hidden, gives him great power over men’s souls. His evil influence creates doubts about My Existence in those with little faith. He convinces others, who do not believe in Me, that man is responsible for whatever choices he makes. His soothing influence, as he tempts man, convinces those he gains access to that wrong is right and right is wrong. He presents love as lust; hatred as a form of desire; and envy and jealousy as a means by which to justify the destruction of another person’s life.Every idea, every desire, every longing and craving he plants in the souls of men, leads them into sin. So much infestation amongst mankind, at this time, has meant that pure love, which comes from God, has been replaced with lust. Everything, which springs from the serpent, will be presented within the hearts of the sinner as being a good thing. Sin, is always justified by sinners who succumb to the devil. Sin, once justified, is then glorified until it resembles a great act – worthy of recognition.

Woe to the man who dares to challenge those who glorify sin. The sinner who embraces sin, with great rejoicing, will influence others to do the same. Today, the influence of the evil one can be seen everywhere. Whereas once, sinful acts were carefully hidden, now they have no shame in presenting them for the world to witness. All that is abhorrent to Me is being embraced with great relish. Wrong is presented as being right and all that is right, according to the Laws of God, is deemed to be wrong. When the devil is at work, everything will be presented back to front and the exact opposite to that, which comes from Me. Know that when My Word is declared to be wrong that the influence of the evil one has reached its peak.

Remember that after the Second Coming, Purgatory will not exist. Heaven and earth will become one and Hell will become the dwelling place for those, who idolise the devil, and all that comes from him. The fumes of his evil and wicked ways have infested both those who believe in Me, as well as those who reject Me. No one is safe.

Prayer, My beloved followers, is your refuge. Uphold My Word and pray, not for yourself, but for those who have entered into a contract with the evil one. They need your prayers, morning, noon and night.

Your Jesus”

Paul’s Ministry to the Gentiles

3.1 This is the reason that I Paul am a prisoner for[g] Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— for surely you have already heard of the commission of God’s grace that was given me for you, and how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I wrote above in a few words, a reading of which will enable you to perceive my understanding of the mystery of Christ. In former generations this mystery[h] was not made known to humankind, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit: that is, the Gentiles have become fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

Of this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God’s grace that was given me by the working of his power.”

Some Women Accompany Jesus

8.1 Soon afterwards he went on through cities and villages, proclaiming and bringing the good news of the kingdom of God. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I am coming to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you this before it occurs, so that when it does occur, you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me; 31 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us be on our way.

Jesus the True Vine

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes[j] to make it bear more fruit. You have already been cleansed[k] by the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing. Whoever does not abide in me is thrown away like a branch and withers; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

The Book of Truth:
10 June 2014 @ 12:05pm

Without My Light there is nothing but darkness of the soul. No peace. No love. No hope. No Life

My dearly beloved daughter, people may ask why is it important that the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass be retained at all costs? The Mass is the focal point of My Presence – My True Presence in the world. My Presence brings both Life and Light. It will bring Life to the soul and fill it with a unique Grace. It will bring with it Light – My Light – which is more powerful than the sun. A glimmer of My Light is enough to light up a room that is in darkness.  As long as My Holy Eucharist is held in great glory upon the altars of My Churches, there will be life. Without it there will be darkness. When I Am not Present, there is no Light. Without My Light there is nothing but darkness of the soul. No peace. No love. No hope. No Life.

Whatever new rules will be forced upon you in the name of evangelization and modernity, in My Name, know that if My Eucharist is no longer revered, as It should be and as It was meant to be, you can be sure that it will not be long before It will disappear altogether. On the day that this happens there will be a darkness, which will descend upon the Earth. You will not see it, but you will feel it in the cold hearts of men, for by then humanity will have changed. Once My Presence diminishes, the gates of Hell will be opened and the antichrist will take My Place in My Church. It will be he who is not of Me, who will sit on the throne that is rightfully Mine. And it will be before him that My Church will lie prostrate at his feet. That will be the greatest betrayal of Me, your Jesus, since Judas handed Me over to My enemies to be crucified.

It is My Church, which will be persecuted first and those who are weak of faith will pay homage to the beast. It will be those men who will claim to represent My Church – who will crucify Me, once more. When the imposter declares that he is Me, the hours will begin to tick and then with a deafening sound of the skies parting and the peal of thunder, My Return will be made known. The world will then understand the Truth of My Promise to Return to reclaim My Kingdom, finally, and to bring unity to My Church, My True Church – those who remained loyal to Me, through all the trials and tribulations.

Nothing can prevail against My Church, for under My Leadership and direction It will remain impenetrable against the beast and all those traitors who will have betrayed Me for their own gain.

Hear now My Promise. All that I told you would happen will happen.  All that I promised you will be fulfilled. All that is Mine is yours. You all belong to Me. Cling to Me for dear life, for without My Protection, you will fall into error and that would break My Heart. Never forsake Me, for he who hates you. I will never forsake you, because I love you too much. I pull you towards Me and still you withdraw. Why? What are you fearful of? Don’t you know you are of Me and that this is a natural birthright? Lean on Me, My beloved followers, for soon you will feel lost and will not know where to turn. And I will be waiting, to bring you My Love and offer you comfort.

Come. Do not fear Me. I come only with love to bring you My Peace.

My Light brings you sight.

My Love brings you hope.

My Heart brings you comfort.

My Hands heal you.

My Eyes see you.

My Wounds draw you.

My Body feeds you.

My Pain is yours.  Your pain is Mine.

My Mercy will save you.

My Word is your path to My Kingdom.

Your Jesus”

May our feet journey together,
May our hands gather in unity,
May our hearts beat to the same rhythm,
May our souls be in harmony,
May our thoughts be in unison,
May our ears listen to the silence together,
May our glances melt in one another,
and may our lips beg our heavenly Father, together, to obtain Mercy.

“It was the stone rejected by the builders
that proved to be the keystone” 1

My Lord Jesus, You were rejected then as the Messiah, because their spirit was not prepared, their hearts were closed and hard, yet You proved to be The Keystone. In our generation, my Lord, the effusion of Your Holy Spirit is also rejected by the ‘builders’ and yet one day Your Holy Spirit will prove to all of us that He was the Keystone. By denying and suppressing Your Holy Spirit that comes to us as the Reminder, ‘the builders’ are preparing again their own downfall.

see how former predictions have come true? indeed, I have said that “the Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My Name will teach you everything and remind you of all I have said to you” but I knew all along that only a remnant would listen and return to Me; these very ones who would listen to Me, I shall invest with My Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Insight; yes, I shall invest them with My Spirit of Counsel and Knowledge; and the flickering light that now is left in this world will become a vivid fire;

I repeat, that My Holy Spirit of Grace is being sent out to the four corners of the earth to teach you to be holy and raise you up again into divine beings; the earth shall turn into a copy of heaven and thus My Will will be done; the prayer I have taught you to pray shall be fulfilled;

Lord!
Turn then all of us away and quick
from the path of delusion,
may we be one, united,
and live holy as your angels in heaven,
like all souls who live in heaven
and undivided in Your Love
may we too share like them,
Your Love in unity,
so that the earth becomes a reflection of heaven,
let Your Kingdom come and renew the earth with fresh things,
let Your Holy Spirit in this second Pentecost
come quick to renew us with a new spirit of love
and transfigure us all into divine beings!
Maranatha!

peace be with you; I tell you truly that the days are coming when My Kingdom on earth shall be as it is in Heaven; you shall not remain divided for long now under these skies, soon you shall all be one, and Love will be dwelling among you: this is My Promise; but, My beloved ones, this renewal shall not come without tribulations; like any birth, this renewal will have its birth-pangs too, but the pains will also be quickly overtaken by joy;

I am pouring out My Spirit on you, generation, to water your desert and to make rivers out of your dry soil, yes! I shall water your desert and turn it into a Garden, eventually you will see the force of My Words and the splendour of My Beauty; I intend to bring you all back to divinity, one after the other; I am your Hope, I am your Refuge, I am your Consoler; Almighty, I Am;

recognise the Times, recognise the gentle Breath of My Holy Spirit of Grace upon you; I am blowing now on your nations, raising up with My Breath your dead, turning them into a reflection of My Image; I am raising new disciples every single day to glorify My Name again and evangelise with love for Love;

I ask you, then, My beloved ones, to pray daily for My second Coming, which is the second Pentecost; pray for the conversion of souls that they may convert before My Coming; come to Me as you are and lean on Me, as John, My beloved one, leaned on Me; you too, place your head on My Bosom and listen to Love’s Heartbeats, every heartbeat is a call for Love, all I ask from you is a return of love; love Me, adore Me, rejoice Me your Lord;

I bless you, leaving My Sigh of Love on your forehead; be one;

Mother of Salvation: The Feast Day of the Mother of Salvation, will be the last day accorded to me, the Mother of God

Roman Catholic:

Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church
Lectionary: 572A

Reading 1 Gn 3:9-15, 20

After Adam had eaten of the tree,
the LORD God called to him and asked him, “Where are you?”
He answered, “I heard you in the garden;
but I was afraid, because I was naked,
so I hid myself.”
Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked?
You have eaten, then,
from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!”
The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—
she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.”
The LORD God then asked the woman,
“Why did you do such a thing?”
The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned
from all the animals
and from all the wild creatures;
On your belly shall you crawl,
and dirt shall you eat
all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
He will strike at your head,
while you strike at his heel.”
The man called his wife Eve,
because she became the mother of all the living.

Or Acts 1:12-14

After Jesus had been taken up to heaven,
the Apostles returned to Jerusalem
from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem,
a sabbath day’s journey away.

When they entered the city
they went to the upper room where they were staying,
Peter and John and James and Andrew,
Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew,
James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot,
and Judas son of James.
All these devoted themselves with one accord to prayer,
together with some women,
and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 87:1-2, 3 and 5, 6-7

R. (3) Glorious things are told of you, O city of God.
His foundation upon the holy mountains
the LORD loves:
The gates of Zion,
more than any dwelling of Jacob.
R. Glorious things are told of you, O city of God.
Glorious things are said of you,
O city of God!
And of Zion they shall say:
“One and all were born in her;
And he who has established her
is the Most High LORD.”
R. Glorious things are told of you, O city of God.
They shall note, when the peoples are enrolled:
“This man was born there.”
And all shall sing, in their festive dance:
“My home is within you.”
R. Glorious things are told of you, O city of God.

Alleluia

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
O happy Virgin, you gave birth to the Lord;
O blessed mother of the Church,
you warm our hearts with the Spirit of your Son Jesus Christ.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Jn 19:25-34

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother
and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas,
and Mary of Magdala.
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved,
he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.”
Then he said to the disciple,
“Behold, your mother.”
And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
After this, aware that everything was now finished,

in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled,
Jesus said, “I thirst.”
There was a vessel filled with common wine.
So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop
and put it up to his mouth.
When Jesus had taken the wine, he said,
“It is finished.”
And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit.Now since it was preparation day,
in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath,
for the sabbath day of that week was a solemn one,
the Jews asked Pilate that their legs be broken
and they be taken down.
So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first
and then of the other one who was crucified with Jesus.
But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead,
they did not break his legs,
but one soldier thrust his lance into his side,
and immediately Blood and water flowed out.”

Orthodox:

The next day we left and came to Caesarea; and we went into the house of Philip the evangelist, one of the seven, and stayed with him. He had four unmarried daughters[a] who had the gift of prophecy. 10 While we were staying there for several days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 He came to us and took Paul’s belt, bound his own feet and hands with it, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘This is the way the Jews in Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’” 12 When we heard this, we and the people there urged him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 Since he would not be persuaded, we remained silent except to say, “The Lord’s will be done.””

1042. Mother of Salvation: When my Son’s priests will face terrible anguish and miscarriages of justice, they must call on me

The Book of Truth:
Thursday, February 6th, 2014, 16:15

My child, when the time comes, when my Son’s priests will face terrible anguish and miscarriages of justice, they must call on me. I have been given the Grace to be able to give them the courage they will need to continue to serve my Son. I refer, in particular, to priests in the Catholic Church, for they will suffer more than any other servants of God.

When the day comes and when they are called to swear an oath, which will deny the Divinity of my beloved Son, Jesus Christ, they must never doubt the real intentions of those who demand this of them. When they are asked to renounce the meaning of the Holy Eucharist and accept a new interpretation, they will know then that the hour has come. That will be the day when the rot will set in and the crumbling of the walls will be witnessed under the roofs of churches everywhere.

I desire that all priests, who will have to face these sorrowful trials, recite this Crusade Prayer (135): To defend the Truth

O beloved Mother of Salvation, help me in my moment of need.
Pray that I am blessed with the Gifts poured down upon my unworthy soul,
by the Power of the Holy Spirit, to
defend the Truth at all times.
Sustain me in every
incident, where I am asked to deny the Truth,
the Word of God, the Holy Sacraments and the Most Holy Eucharist.

Help me to use the Graces I receive to stand firm against the wickedness of Satan and all those poor souls he uses to defile your Son, Jesus Christ.
Help me in my hour of
need. For the sake of souls, give me the courage to provide the Sacraments to each child of God, when I may be forbidden by the enemies of God to do so. Amen.

When these times commence, you must be prepared to continue to carry on the Work of God and carry His Cross with resilience and dignity, for the sake of your own souls and those of all God’s children.

Your beloved Mother, Mother of Salvation”

Memorial of Saint Paul Miki and Companions, Martyrs
Lectionary: 325

Reading 1 Heb 12:4-7, 11-15

Brothers and sisters:
In your struggle against sin
you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood.
You have also forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as children:
My son, do not disdain the discipline of the Lord
or lose heart when reproved by him;
for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines;
he scourges every son he acknowledges.

Endure your trials as “discipline”;
God treats you as his sons.
For what Ason” is there whom his father does not discipline?
At the time, all discipline seems a cause not for joy but for pain,yet later it brings the peaceful fruit of righteousness
to those who are trained by it.
So strengthen your drooping hands and your weak knees.
Make
straight paths for your feet,
that what is lame may not be dislocated but healed.

Strive for peace with everyone,
and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
See to it that no one be deprived of the grace of God,
that no bitter root spring up and cause trouble,
through which many may become defiled.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 103:1-2, 13-14, 17-18a

R. (see 17)  The Lord’s kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.
Bless the LORD, O my soul;
and all my being, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits.
R. The Lord’s kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.
As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him,
For he knows how we are formed;
he remembers that we are dust.
R. The Lord’s kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.
But the kindness of the LORD is from eternity
to eternity toward those who fear him,
And his justice toward children’s children
among those who keep his covenant.
R. The Lord’s kindness is everlasting to those who fear him.

Alleluia Jn 10:27

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord;
I know them, and they follow me.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Mk 6:1-6

Jesus departed from there and came to his native place, accompanied by his disciples.
When the sabbath came he began to teach in the synagogue,
and many who heard him were astonished.
They said, “Where did this man get all this?
What kind of
wisdom has been given him?
What mighty deeds are wrought by his hands!

Is he not the carpenter, the son of Mary,
and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon?
And are not his sisters here with us?”
And they took offense at him.
Jesus said to them,
“A prophet is not without honor except in his native place
and among his own kin and in his own house.”
So he was not able to perform any mighty deed there,
apart from curing a few sick people by laying his hands on them.
He was amazed at their lack of faith.”

11 Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and brackish water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brothers and sisters,[e] yield olives, or a grapevine figs? No more can salt water yield fresh.

Two Kinds of Wisdom

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not be boastful and false to the truth. 15 Such wisdom does not come down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, devilish. 16 For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there will also be disorder and wickedness of every kind. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for[f] those who make peace.

Friendship with the World

4.1 Those conflicts and disputes among you, where do they come from? Do they not come from your cravings that are at war within you? You want something and do not have it; so you commit murder. And you covet[g] something and cannot obtain it; so you engage in disputes and conflicts. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, in order to spend what you get on your pleasures. Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you suppose that it is for nothing that the scripture says, “God[h] yearns jealously for the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? But he gives all the more grace; therefore it says,

“God opposes the proud,
    but gives grace to the humble.” …”

25 “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.”[c] …”

The Seventh Day in the Octave of Christmas
Lectionary: 204

Reading 1 1 Jn 2:18-21

Children, it is the last hour;
and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming,
so now many antichrists have appeared.
Thus we know this is the last hour.
They went out from us, but they were not really of our number;
if they had been, they would have remained with us.
Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number.

But you have the anointing that comes from the Holy One,
and you all have knowledge.
I write to you not because you do not know the truth
but because you do, and because every lie is alien to the truth. …”

Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God
Lectionary: 18

Reading 1 Nm 6:22-27

The LORD said to Moses:
“Speak to Aaron and his sons and tell them:
This is how you shall bless the Israelites.
Say to them:
The LORD bless you and keep you!
The LORD let his face shine upon
you, and be gracious to you!
The LORD look upon you kindly and
give you peace!
So shall they invoke my
name upon the Israelites,
and I will bless them.”

Responsorial Psalm Ps 67:2-3, 5, 6, 8.

R. (2a) May God bless us in his mercy.
May God have pity on us and bless us;
may he let his face shine upon us.
So may your way be known upon earth;
among all nations, your salvation.
R. May God bless us in his mercy.
May the nations be glad and exult
because you rule the peoples in equity;
the nations on the earth you guide.
R. May God bless us in his mercy.
May the peoples praise you, O God;
may all the peoples praise you!
May God bless us,
and may all the ends of the earth fear him!
R. May God bless us in his mercy.

Reading 2 Gal 4:4-7

Brothers and sisters:
When the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son,
born of a woman, born under the law,
to ransom those under the law,
so that we might receive adoption as sons.
As proof that you are sons,
God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts,
crying out, “Abba, Father!”
So you are no longer a slave but a son,
and if a son then also an heir, through God.

Alleluia Heb 1:1-2

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets;
in these last days, he has spoken to us through the Son.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Lk 2:16-21

The shepherds went in haste to Bethlehem and found Mary and Joseph,
and the infant lying in the manger.
When they saw this,
they made known the message
that had been told them about this child.
All who heard it were amazed
by what had been told them by the shepherds.
And Mary kept all these things,
reflecting on them in her heart.
Then the shepherds returned,
glorifying and praising God
for all they had heard and seen,
just as it had been told to them.

When eight days were completed for his circumcision,
he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel
before he was conceived in the womb.”

The Sign of the Covenant

17.1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, “I am God Almighty;[a] walk before me, and be blameless. And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will make you exceedingly numerous.” Then Abram fell on his face; and God said to him, “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You shall be the ancestor of a multitude of nations. No longer shall your name be Abram,[b] but your name shall be Abraham;[c] for I have made you the ancestor of a multitude of nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. I will establish my covenant between me and you, and your offspring after you throughout their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring[d] after you. And I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are now an alien, all the land of Canaan, for a perpetual holding; and I will be their God.”

God said to Abraham, “As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations. 10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you. 12 Throughout your generations every male among you shall be circumcised when he is eight days old, including the slave born in your house and the one bought with your money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring. 13 Both the slave born in your house and the one bought with your money must be circumcised. So shall my covenant be in your flesh an everlasting covenant. 14 Any uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin shall be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.”

Wisdom’s Part in Creation

22 The Lord created me at the beginning[a] of his work,[b]
    the first of his acts of long ago.
23 Ages ago I was set up,
    at the first, before the beginning of the earth.
24 When there were no depths I was brought forth,
    when there were no springs abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains had been shaped,
    before the hills, I was brought forth—
26 when he had not yet made earth and fields,[c]
    or the world’s first bits of soil.
27 When he established the heavens, I was there,
    when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,
28 when he made firm the skies above,
    when he established the fountains of the deep,
29 when he assigned to the sea its limit,
    so that the waters might not transgress his command,
when he marked out the foundations of the earth,
30     then I was beside him, like a master worker;[d]
and I was daily his[e] delight,
    rejoicing before him always, …”

I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 The hired hand, who is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away—and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. 13 The hired hand runs away because a hired hand does not care for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. …

1000. You cannot divorce My Church from the Word – the Flesh – because then It cannot Exist

The Book of Truth:
Saturday, December 21st, 2013, 20:13

My dearly beloved daughter, to those who accuse you, through My Holy Word, of fighting against the Authority of My Church, they must hear My Call.

The Church, created by Me, Jesus Christ, was built upon a firm Rock and no matter how much My Church – My Body – is attacked, the gates of Hell will never destroy It. Satan and his agents will only attack what is genuine, what is True and what is of Me. This is where all his energy will be focused on – My Church. I Am Present in My Church, through My Body, the Most Holy Eucharist. My enemies will always target the Most Holy Eucharist, as It is not merely a symbol of My Love, My Promise to redeem the world – It is My Body. It lives and breathes, for It is I, Jesus Christ, Who dwells in It. I will remain Present within the Holy Eucharist until close to the end, but My Church will never die.

My Word was made Flesh and through My Flesh, you, God’s children, will remain close to Me. When My enemies attacked My Church in the past, My Church united and fought against Its opponents. But when My Church is attacked, by the spirit of evil from within, It will face very few obstacles from a secular world.

Satan does not attack his own work. As the Son of man, I will never desert My Church, for It is impenetrable by the devil. My followers will remain true to My Church up to the last day. However, the number of people who will not understand the attacks, which My Church will come under, from within, will be high. They will, for the most part, be content with the many adaptations to be introduced in the Holy Sacraments and the Laws of God. They will swallow the lie that modern life calls for a modern church; that people today need to be able to make choices, based on their own free will – irrespective as to whether or not they insult God. Then when they insult God and commit blasphemy, when they desecrate the Holy Eucharist, they will no longer be part of My Church. My Church will remain intact. My Church will stay standing, because of those who will remain true to the Word of God – the Word, which became Flesh. For you cannot divorce My Church from the Word – the Flesh – because then It cannot Exist.

I promised that I would protect My Church against the gates of Hell and I do this now by preparing My loyal sacred servants to stand by Me and to remain true and steadfast until the Great Day. I never break My Promise.
Your Jesus”

Friday of the Third Week of Advent
Lectionary: 197

Reading 1 Sg 2:8-14

Hark! my lover–here he comes
springing across the mountains,
leaping across the hills.
My lover is like a gazelle
or a young stag.
Here he stands behind our wall,
gazing through the windows,
peering through the lattices.
My lover speaks; he says to me,
“Arise, my beloved, my dove, my beautiful one,
and come!
“For see, the winter is past,
the rains are over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of pruning the vines has come,
and the song of the dove is heard in our land.
The fig tree puts forth its figs,
and the vines, in bloom, give forth fragrance.
Arise, my beloved, my beautiful one,
and come!”O my dove in the clefts of the rock,
in the secret recesses of the cliff,
Let me see you,
let me hear your voice,
For your voice is sweet,

and you are lovely.”

or Zep 3:14-18a

Shout for joy, O daughter Zion!
Sing joyfully, O Israel!
Be glad and exult with all your heart,
O daughter Jerusalem!
The LORD has removed the judgment against you,
he has turned away your enemies;
The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst,
you have no further misfortune to fear.
On that day, it shall be said to Jerusalem:
Fear not, O Zion, be not discouraged!
The LORD, your God, is in your midst,
a mighty savior;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,
and renew you in his love,
He will sing joyfully because of you,
as one sings at festivals.

Responsorial Psalm Ps 33:2-3, 11-12, 20-21

R. (1a; 3a) Exult, you just, in the Lord! Sing to him a new song.
Give thanks to the LORD on the harp;
with the ten-stringed lyre chant his praises.
Sing to him a new song;
pluck the strings skillfully, with shouts of gladness.
R. Exult, you just, in the Lord! Sing to him a new song.
But the plan of the LORD stands forever;
the design of his heart, through all generations.
Blessed the nation whose God is the LORD,
the people he has chosen for his own inheritance.
R. Exult, you just, in the Lord! Sing to him a new song.
Our soul waits for the LORD,
who is our help and our shield,

For in him our hearts rejoice;
in his holy name we trust.
R. Exult, you just, in the Lord! Sing to him a new song.

Alleluia

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
O Emmanuel, our King and Giver of Law:
come to save us, Lord our God!
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Lk 1:39-45

Mary set out in those days
and traveled to the hill country in haste
to a town of Judah,
where she entered the house of Zechariah
and greeted Elizabeth.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting,
the infant leaped in her womb,
and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit,
cried out in a loud voice and said,
“Most blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
And how does this happen to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
For at the moment
the sound of your greeting reached my ears,
the infant in my womb
leaped for joy.
Blessed are you who believed
that what was spoken to you by the Lord
would be
fulfilled.” “

The Faith of Abraham

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to set out for a place that he was to receive as an inheritance; and he set out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he stayed for a time in the land he had been promised, as in a foreign land, living in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he looked forward to the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God. 11 By faith he received power of procreation, even though he was too old—and Sarah herself was barren—because he considered him faithful who had promised.[a] 12 Therefore from one person, and this one as good as dead, descendants were born, “as many as the stars of heaven and as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.”

13 All of these died in faith without having received the promises, but from a distance they saw and greeted them. They confessed that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth, 14 for people who speak in this way make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15 If they had been thinking of the land that they had left behind, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; indeed, he has prepared a city for them.”

23 Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were perplexed at these words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how hard it is[a] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 They were greatly astounded and said to one another,[b] “Then who can be saved?” 27 Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”28 Peter began to say to him, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.” 29 Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields, for my sake and for the sake of the good news,[c] 30 who will not receive a hundredfold now in this age—houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields, with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.”

A Third Time Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection

32 They were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead of them; they were amazed, and those who followed were afraid. He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them what was to happen to him, …”

997. Through the Sacrament of Baptism, the power of the beast is weakened

The Book of Truth:
Monday, December 16th, 2013, 19:25

My dearly beloved daughter, when you are close to My Heart and when souls surrender in full to Me, a number of things happen.Firstly, any fear of human interference in your lives, will disappear. In its place will be the peace and contentment, which comes from Me when I truly reside in your heart and soul. No amount of abuse, cruelty or criticism can penetrate your soul, because you will have handed this pain over to Me. This is why you must always remain calm and silent in the face of such attacks.

The next Grace you will be given will be the strength to withstand the temptation to sin. This temptation, which is placed before all souls, every single day, by the devil, is very powerful and very few people have the willpower to avoid falling into sin. But when you have abandoned your will to Mine, it is My Will which will reside within your soul, which will then overcome the temptations placed before you.

Never, ever, underestimate how much of a stranglehold Satan has over the human race. This power is like a powerful storm and just as a strong, fierce gust of wind can knock you to the ground, the seduction, placed before you by the evil one, is akin to a force, which will lift you in seconds and propel you into the sin, which you try to avoid.

Man is born with sin. Through the Sacrament of Baptism, the power of the beast is weakened. Then, as you go through life’s many trials and temptations, every person will be enticed into sin of every kind. Only those who work hard to avoid sin will overcome the fierce battle, which the evil one will mount to devour their souls. Regular communication with Me is important. All you need to do is to talk with Me in your own words. Ask Me regularly to forgive you for the sins for which you are remorseful. Receive the Sacraments regularly. Then, finally, trust in Me, for when you do, I have the Power to pull you back from the brink of sin. When you surrender your will to Me, My Will will become the driving force to protect you against Satan.

By abandoning yourselves to Me entirely, you will perfect your soul.

Your Jesus”

Third Sunday of Advent
Lectionary: 9

Reading 1 Zep 3:14-18a

Shout for joy, O daughter Zion!
Sing joyfully, O Israel!
Be glad and exult with all your heart,
O daughter Jerusalem!
The LORD has removed the
judgment against you
he has turned away your enemies;
the King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst,
you have
no further misfortune to fear.
On that day, it shall be said to Jerusalem:
Fear not, O Zion, be not discouraged!
The LORD, your God, is in your midst,
a mighty savior;
he will rejoice over you with gladness,
and renew you in his love,
he will sing joyfully because of you,
as one sings at festivals.

Responsorial Psalm Is 12:2-3, 4, 5-6.

R. (6) Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.
God indeed is my savior;
I am confident and unafraid.
My strength and my courage is the LORD,
and he has been my savior.

With joy you will draw water
at the fountain of salvation.
R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.
Give thanks to the LORD, acclaim his name;
among the nations make known his deeds,
proclaim how exalted is his name.
R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.
Sing praise to the LORD for his glorious achievement;
let this be known throughout all the earth.
Shout with exultation, O city of Zion,
for great in your midst
is the Holy One of Israel!
R. Cry out with joy and gladness: for among you is the great and Holy One of Israel.

Reading 2 Phil 4:4-7

Brothers and sisters:
Rejoice in the Lord always.
I shall say it again: rejoice!
Your kindness should be known to all.
The Lord is near.
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
make your requests known to God.

Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding
will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Alleluia Is 61:1 (cited in Lk 4:18)

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring glad tidings to the poor.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Gospel Lk 3:10-18

The crowds asked John the Baptist,
“What should we do?”
He said to them in reply,
“Whoever has two cloaks
should share with the person who has none.
And whoever has food should do likewise.”
Even tax collectors came to be baptized and they said to him,
“Teacher, what should we do?”
He answered them,
“Stop collecting more than what is prescribed.”
Soldiers also asked him,
“And what is it that we should do?”
He told them,
“Do not practice extortion,
do not falsely accuse anyone,
and be satisfied with your wages.”Now the people were filled with expectation,
and all were asking in their hearts
whether John might be the Christ.
John answered them all, saying,
“I am baptizing you with water,
but one mightier than I is coming.
I am not worthy to loosen the thongs of his sandals.
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
His winnowing fan is in his hand to clear his threshing floor
and to gather the wheat into his barn,
but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”
Exhorting them in many other ways,
he preached good news to the people.”

The Resurrection of Jesus

20.1 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.” Then Peter and the other disciple set out and went toward the tomb. The two were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent down to look in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen wrappings lying there, and the cloth that had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen wrappings but rolled up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; 9 for as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise from the dead. 10 Then the disciples returned to their homes. ...”

“… 4 When Christ who is your[a] life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.Put to death, therefore, whatever in you is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry). On account of these the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient.[b] These are the ways you also once followed, when you were living that life.[c] But now you must get rid of all such things—anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive[d] language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have stripped off the old self with its practices 10 and have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator. 11 In that renewal[e]  there is no longer (important, whether somebody is a * editor) Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all (that important * editor) and in all!”

16 Then Jesus[a] said to him, “Someone gave a great dinner and invited many. 17 At the time for the dinner he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come; for everything is ready now.’ 18 But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of land, and I must go out and see it; please accept my regrets.’ 19 Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out; please accept my regrets.’ 20 Another said, ‘I have just been married, and therefore I cannot come.’ 21 So the slave returned and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and said to his slave, ‘Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’ 22 And the slave said, ‘Sir, what you ordered has been done, and there is still room.’ 23 Then the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the roads and lanes, and compel people to come in, so that my house may be filled. 24 For I tell you,[b] none of those who were invited will taste my dinner.’””https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+14%3A16-24&version=NRSVCE;NR2006;SCH2000;ERV-HU;BDS
